Higher insulation values along with high energy-efficient cooling and heating keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Utilizing appliances that are high in energy efficiency may be costly but we see that as transferring wealth by reducing energy on future utility bills.
The homes that we renovate are usually beyond repair so it makes it difficult to salvage any materials. We try and reuse materials that are normally taken out during the full gut renovation or reuse materials from local salvage stores during the construction phase of the project.
